by Paul Schröder and David Lindemann

Can humanity remain as it is? In this Hamlet science fiction, that is conceivable. Science offers two options: Almost everyone sets off for a distant place, into space. Where they can carry on as before. Others stay on earth to live in harmony with nature without the achievements of civilization. What is there to gain and for whom?

The countdown is on and Paul has long since made his decision. He is live on the radio show, on the phone with his mother, packing what is important and hesitating about his future. He looks for his hand luggage. He abandons the dog Heinzl in the forest.

In a multimedia self-questioning, he gets caught up in a rousing vortex of hesitation:

What about those who stay on earth? And why? Why not? What if? But what if not? Would you dare to make a radical new start? What would you be prepared to give up?
