The Swedish clarinetist Martin Fröst is difficult to pigeonhole into the classical genre. But he doesn't want to provoke; he wants to create innovative, creative concert experiences that loosen up and change the existing tradition.

Born in 1970, the Swede found his way to the clarinet after initial practice on the violin. Martin Fröst now also works as a componist and conductor. In some of his projects he also appears as a dancer and actor.
