For the special exhibition "Andy Warhol. Velvet Rage and Beauty"

Who do you find particularly beautiful? When do you feel particularly beautiful? What makes a person beautiful, red lipstick, a hairstyle, clothing, a gesture or a special moment together?

Kinder beim Workshop in der Neuen Nationalgalerie

You explore parts of the exhibition "Andy Warhol. Velvet Rage and Beauty" and come across pictures of pop stars, brave queens and Warhol. During the self-portrait, you play with masquerades and wigs and print your own pictures of your celebrities and everyday stars.

Three-day workshop: July 30th - August 1st, 2024, Tues - Thurs / 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

For children aged 9 to 12.

Participation fee for all three days: 36 euros

Limited number of participants. Online booking required.

Note: The exhibition shows very explicit nudity and sexuality as well as diverse representations of gender and bodies. Please take this into account when deciding whether to visit the exhibition with minors. If you would like to visit the exhibition with children or young people, do so together and keep talking.
