A geohistory opera
Both archaic and delicate, Gaia24. calls the audience to sing and dance for Mother Earth with string quartet and electric guitar, baroque and techno, all while asking the question: What is war doing to nature?
After exploring nature’s reclamation of the former Chernobyl nuclear power plant in CHORNOBYLDORF , the Ukrainian composer duo Opera Aperta now presents Gaia24., focussing on the consequences of the demolition of the Kakhovka Dam during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
