Georgina, the exalted opera diva from the USA, is preparing for her concert evening in an upscale setting when she unexpectedly meets jazz musician James. He is also due to perform in the same place at the same time. The two could not be more different - both in terms of their characters and their musical styles. And yet they have to organise the upcoming concert evening together.

But how is that supposed to work? A fierce - and not just musical - confrontation begins between the eccentric opera singer and James, who knows little about Wagner and Verdi.
