La tierra mía, sus voces y ecos is a tribute to the simple and pure singing forms of early flamenco art, which gave rise to a multitude of variations and styles in flamenco (palos) and continue to shape it to this day. It is a declaration by de la Ana of his Andalusian roots, to pay homage to the heritage that made today's high level of virtuosity in singing (cante), guitar playing (toque) and dance (baile) possible.

The project aims to show the high art of interpreting individual palos del flamenco in all its diversity, including in dance. With Lorena Caballero Cazalla, Rubin de la Ana presents another master dancer from Jerez/Cádiz after Fernando Galán, Juan Mateos and Ana Maria Galan Galvez.

With La tierra mía, sus voces y ecos, Rubin de la Ana paints an impressive picture of the centuries-old tradition of flamenco art from its beginnings to the present day. De la Ana perfects traditional flamenco sounds (guitar, palmas, cajón) by merging them with the timbres of saxophone, cello, violin and piano, creating unique soundscapes. The result is impressive with great harmonies: ¡Flamenco puro arte!

The Rubin de la Ana quintet is inspiring, versatile and full of creativity and daring. Their sound is fresh, compact, wild and, above all, flamenco at the highest level.
