by Michael Ende

A fast-paced adventure about saving the world at the very last second and the belief that it's never too late to fight for what's right.

Tick tock tick tock. Only seven hours until midnight. Beelzebub Irrwitzer and his witch aunt Tyrannja Vamperl are under enormous time pressure. Because according to the contract with the devil, they must have wiped out some animal species, caused many trees to die, and spread at least one deadly plague just in time for the new year.

They resort to a powerful magic potion, the punch of all punches: the satanarchaeoliancohellish wish punch, which turns all good wishes into their opposite when the bell rings at midnight. Fortunately, there is the High Council of Animals, which has been watching the magician and witch for a long time and has sent the spies Maurizio the cat and Jacob the raven. But the clock is ticking for these two too. The two animals must do everything they can to defeat the evil forces and save the world from the impending catastrophe. A race against time begins.

The classic children's book by Michael Ende uses fairytale characters to describe a battle between good and evil, the common good and self-interest, nature and humanity. An absurd and exciting family play directed by Mathias Spaan.
