From rap to jazz to piano playing, 30-year-old Yamê is a jack of all trades. The son of a Cameroonian musician, he has become known through his videos on social networks and was recently awarded a music prize in the "male discovery of the year" category.

In 2020, Yamê released a mixtape entitled Bantu Mixtape Vol. 1. An extended play entitled Agent 237 followed in 2021. On June 1, 2023, The Colors Studios called Yamê to perform his song "Bécane" and promote his debut album Elowi. In January 2024, Yamê released a music video for "Bécane," directed by Mateo Da Silva.
