Based on the story by Astrid Lindgren

How can adults be so ignorant? Is it so difficult to understand how mean older siblings can be, how you feel after a terrible nightmare and that wool sweaters are so scratchy? Lotta is so angry and disappointed that she decides to move into the neighbor's attic and never come back.

Everything seems much more exciting at Aunt Berg's than at home anyway.

Lotta experiences the euphoria of self-determination, but also the longing for security. And what can adults actually do differently to make children feel taken seriously? This new telling of the famous Astrid Lindgren story (directed by Kay Dietrich) is musical throughout and awakens empathy for everyone involved.
