B O D I E S is the work of Australian singer, songwriter and producer Kat Frankie, who lives in Berlin. This a cappella performance sees Frankie and seven outstanding female singers on stage without instrumental accompaniment, exploring what it means to be made of matter.

The show's hybrid concept combines arrangements of Frankie's existing songs with more complex compositions created specifically for the ensemble. Frankie has been known for years to incorporate one or two a cappella pieces into her band concerts.

B O D I E S unfolds this idea in a special way as a complete concert with female voices only, in its full cross-genre, dramatic and uplifting effect.
