Entitled ‘My Songbook’, this evening contains Dagmar Manzel's personal selection, accompanied by her trio and Daniela Braun on the violin.

‘Even as a child, I was fascinated by the songs of the 1920s, which gave rise to something like a little longing in me that would eventually, many years later, bring me to the stage as a singer myself,’ says Dagmar Manzel.

The songs that caused a sensation on the variety, cabaret and operetta stages of Babylon Berlin in the Weimar Republic are unforgettable: Jede Frau hat irgendeine Sehnsucht, Irgendwo auf der Welt or Ick wunder' mir über jar nischt mehr.
