Improneta is the combination of the words Impro and Neta. Impro is the abbreviation for improvisational theater and a special form of theater in which everything on stage is created in the moment. Neta is a Mexican exclamation and means real.

So Improneta is real improvisational theater. The workshop leaders (Nele Kießling, Ilka Luza, Jan-Henrik Sievers) and the festival management (Beate Schönwetter and Alexandra Winterfeldt) play together and cook.
