Before the champagne corks pop on New Year's Eve, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra will really let it rip. With highlights from films, musicals and operettas, they will set off a musical fireworks display that is in no way inferior to the sparkling spectacle at midnight.

Of course, the Strauss classics in three-quarter time will not be missing either. Together with vocal soloist Femke Soetenga, conductor and presenter Ulrich Kern will provide the necessary momentum so that the audience can start the new year in high spirits and in a good mood.
