Achtet Alisᴹᴮ - Junge Museen für junge Menschen

During the absence of her husband Odysseus, Penelope kept pushy men at bay by weaving a shroud. How can we understand this and other stories of strong women from antiquity today? In the workshop, we will talk about battles and utopias and weave a carpet together that will be exhibited in the Altes Museum.

Join the workshop with Achtet AlisMB, the youth committee of the Berlin State Museums.

On five dates (each from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.), participants will deal with various strong women:

  • Sat, June 8, 2024: Artemis and the Amazons
  • Sun, June 16, 2024: Medusa and Cassandra
  • Sun, June 23, 2024: Medea and Persephone
  • Sun, July 7, 2024: Penelope and Circe
  • Sun, July 21, 2024: Athena, Hera and Aphrodite

In German and English.

Admission and participation free of charge. Limited number of participants. Online registration required.
