mit dem Konzerthausorchester Berlin und Joana Mallwitz
The one-hour short concerts “8Zehn30” on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the Konzerthaus Berlin offer the perfect opportunity to leave everyday life behind and devote yourself to music for 60 minutes without interruption - regardless of whether it's time to finish work or an evening shift is waiting. The musicians of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin put on a varied concert evening that begins with a personal introduction and ends with a shared after-concert drink in the Beethoven Hall.
The work of the evening: Bela Bartók's brilliantly orchestrated Concerto for Orchestra from 1943, in whose five movements the composer combines western musical tradition with Hungarian folk music.
- Claude Debussy - “Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune”
- Béla Bartók - Concerto for Orchestra Sz 116
