How many lines does a star consist of? What happens when three rectangles are placed on top of each other? What other forms can participants think of? There are many ornaments in the Museum of Islamic Art: in the Alhambra dome or on the prayer niche from Konya.

The participants create their own patterns using colored wooden sticks. Let them come alive with light and shadow and change their colors.

Participation fee including entry: €10 per family (2 people), €15 per family (from 3 people)

Limited number of participants. Online booking recommended. Remaining tickets are available at the box office in the James Simon Gallery. The family ticket entitles you to visit the museums on Museum Island on the same day. You can get the entry ticket to the museums at the museum ticket offices upon presentation of the participation ticket for the family workshop.
