At the age of eight, Yo-Yo Ma made his first appearance on US television with Leonard Bernstein. Then he picked up one prize after the next. In addition to 15 Grammys, he also received a Glenn Gould Award.



Kathryn Stott began studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School at the age of eight before attending London's Royal College of Music and winning the Leeds International Piano Competition, which launched her international career.


The British pianist, who was the duet partner of cellist Yo-Yo Ma for many years, will retire from the concert business at the end of 2024.
