At the invitation of the Berlin Philharmonic

The Young German Philharmonic will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an anniversary season in the 2024/2025 season. The Frankfurt-based orchestra is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a diverse program that extends over the entire 2024/25 season.

Since its founding in 1974, the Young German Philharmonic has taken up relevant social discourses, which will continue in the anniversary year. As a self-organized, grassroots democratic orchestra, it made history and continues to shape the orchestra landscape today.
