Simon Roturier started playing the violin at the age of seven and decided to make music his career at the age of 14. He went to the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique. After receiving his diploma, he continued his studies at the Lyon Conservatory and took part in master classes with Ulf Hölscher, David Grimal and Ida Handel.
