Artist in Residence
Seong-Jin Cho, winner of the prestigious Chopin Competition and described by Simon Rattle as the "poet at the piano", has made a name for himself internationally. This season he can be seen as Artist in Residence with the Berlin Philharmonic. He plays, among other things, piano concertos by Beethoven and Shostakovich.
