The Mecklenburg Wind Academy is a project from the partnership between the Staatsoper Unter den Linden/Staatskapelle Berlin and the Rostock University of Music and Theater, supported by Daniel Barenboim. Since 2004, it has brought together particularly talented students from the university and academics from the Staatskapelle Berlin in an extraordinary chamber music project.
