With a tradition of more than 450 years, the Staatskapelle Berlin is one of the oldest orchestras in the world. Prague-born conductor Petr Popelka has been conducting the Norwegian Radio Orchestra since 2020. In May 2025, he can be heard together with the US pianist Emanuel Ax in Abonnementkonzert VII.
