The program curated by FKP Scorpio for the opening day of the IFA Summer Garden has been finalized and appropriately honors the anniversary:

British music legends Faithless, Incognito, Stereo MC’s and Kosheen will perform at the IFA Sommergarten on September 7th.

It's been eight years since their last live performance, and about a year and a half since the tragic death of singer and founding member Maxi Jazz. Nevertheless, Faithless have never stopped making music and in the summer of 2024 they will finally be able to perform live again.

With Faithless, a band returns to the stage that began an incredible global career almost three decades ago. Since the mid-1990s, their hit "Insomnia" has been an integral part of clubs around the world and has become a flagship for intelligent electronic sound.

Further successes such as "God Is A DJ" cemented their status as one of the most successful dance acts worldwide.

Their unique sound, which combines elements of house, hip hop, trip hop, ambient and trance, as well as their outstanding live presence make Faithless an incomparable band.

Incognito, the flagship of the English label Talkin' Loud, shaped acid jazz in the 1990s, a connection between jazz, funk, soul and the emerging hip hop. With a series of hits they defined the sound of an entire generation.

The Stereo MC's were the first British hip-hoppers to enter the US charts with their track "Elevate My Mind". They later had an absolute global hit with "Connected", which was produced without samples but only with live music. Their sound, which is still relevant today, and their energetic live performances make the British duo outstanding representatives of hip hop.

Similar to the Stereo MC’s, Kosheen, a drum’n’bass trio, also aims to combine electronic music with traditional songwriting. They conquered the world with their hypnotic breakbeats at the end of the 1990s. They are also masters of the stage and easily get their audience moving.

The IFA Summer Garden program on Saturday 7 September 2024 begins at 4.30pm with a show from Bristol trip-hop veterans Kosheen. The Stereo MC’s will perform at 5:45 p.m., followed by Incognito at 7:15 p.m. The finale with Faithless begins at 8:45 p.m.

The pre-sale has started. The concert ticket also includes entry to the IFA on the day of the event.

The year 2024 marks a special anniversary for the International Radio Exhibition (IFA) in Berlin:

The renowned trade fair is celebrating its centenary, as is the IFA Summer Garden, one of the capital's most outstanding open-air arenas and the heart of the entertainment program at the trade fair, which attracts tens of thousands of people every year to the open-air area under the radio tower.
