The albums "Garageband Superstar" and "Girlfriend Material" alone are enough to accurately describe Lauran Hibberd's powerful pop. The singer from the British Isle of Wight presents a rebellious mood à la Limp Bizkit and Green Day and combines it with youthful attitude and a good dose of pop à la Taylor Swift and Co.

Lauran Hibberd

Irony is an integral part of Lauran Hibberd's art, which is already evident in song titles such as "I suck at grieving" or "pretty good for a bad day". Otherwise, "Girlfriend Material" is reminiscent of Avril Lavigne in many places with its sweet yet cheeky pop rock and seems like a little journey back in time to the 2000s.

The Brit is bringing exactly this vibe to Berlin with her live show this fall.
