To mark Open Monument Day, the Rhythm & Melody Concert Band will be playing a "WandelKonzert" concert at the Ostkirchhof in Ahrensfelde. The Rhythm & Melody Concertband is a symphonic wind orchestra from Berlin-Lichtenberg, in which over 50 musicians from young to old make music together.

Rhythm & Melody Concertband set the tone in motion with “timpani and trumpets” - with wind instruments made of wood and brass, supported by all kinds of percussion. Thanks to a balanced age structure, young musicians feel just as comfortable here as retirees.
