The railway festival invites all locomotive fans to explore the Schöneweide depot.

Every September, the Railway Festival offers the opportunity to experience 100 years of railway history. The event, which is now taking place for the 19th time, opens the gates of the Schöneweide depot and invites visitors of all ages to marvel and discover.

You can look at historic railways, take trips on steam locomotives and learn about the tasks of a train driver from bygone times.

A variety of historic railways are presented. Over 20 locomotives and cars are available for viewing, including the express train locomotive 03, freight train steam locomotives of the series 50 and 52 and the light rail steam locomotive of the series 74 (1916).
