Young Euro Classic 2024

The concert is framed by music by Mozart: first the overture to "Così fan tutte" and at the end the great Haffner Symphony in D major. Between the Mozart pieces, two contemporary compositions are the focus of each concert part.

"Sound and Fury" by the highly respected English composer Anna Clyne in 2019 and "Score" by the American composer Jonathan Leshnoff in 2020.

Of course, prominent soloists should not be missing:
The orchestra's cellist and founder, Jan Vogler, presents a rare composition by the young Richard Strauss, while the Philharmonic's outstanding horn player, Stefan Dohr, performs his exuberant first horn concerto.
