Young Euro Classic 2024

This time the Nordic musicians are giving their premiere in a larger symphonic line-up than the O/Modern New Generation Orchestra. The interweaving of old and new sounds as well as symphonic and folk music is experienced even more intensively.

The program includes the second violin concerto "In the Evening Light" by the Latvian Pēteris Vasks as well as music by Hugo Alfvén, one of Sweden's most important late romantic composers.

In addition, Scandinavian folk music pieces are presented in unusual orchestral arrangements.

And in the middle of all this stands the ensemble's versatile founder and director, Hugo Ticciati, who will not only be heard as a violinist, but will also conduct the passionate First Symphony by Jean Sibelius.
