What challenge does a band face when releasing their fifth to eighth album (depending on how you count) in seven years? Which quickly went from an insider tip to a permanent fixture in the indie republic? Whose live shows have long been on every serious “100 things to see before you die” list?

Fortuna Ehrenfeld have found their sound, their idea, their view of life and art, which, in addition to the big, whole and emotional, also pays attention to the strange, banal and sometimes just nonsense. The challenge now is not to settle in the cozy apartment with the plush stuff on the wall and the strobe light in the corner, but to park the moving truck in front of the house with the engine running.

Here on the album, which doesn't have a disco ball on the cover for nothing, the danceable songs exude an unstoppable springboard feeling. But the gods have placed melancholy before escalation, and in this field too, Fortuna Ehrenfeld once again proves their uniqueness.
