Equipped with a researcher's booklet, families explore the book "In an old house in Berlin" in this creative programme.
Many of the museum objects illustrated in the book - such as furniture, dolls or musical instruments - were selected by the author for her story from the large collection of the Stadtmuseum Berlin. But which illustrations are these?
The objects are shown in the book in their original functions. In this way, they can be experienced almost like in an exhibition.
Guided by an artist, the children will create their own illustrations and small panoramas of life in an old house in Berlin based on these pictures.
