A production by Kay Dietrich based on the picture book classic by Tomi Ungerer for children aged 5 and over

A puffed-up muscleman (robber Jajaja), an unkempt potbelly (robber Fettsack) and a posh darkling (robber Zwinkerauge) are “The Three Robbers”. During their dreaded raids, they accumulate huge amounts of stolen goods and constantly get into arguments about the distribution of their treasures. One night, however, the little orphan girl Tiffany comes into her life and confronts her with the question of the meaning of her actions.

In fact, a touch of culture of conversation and personal hygiene is slowly creeping into the thieves' den. But when Tiffany challenges the robbers to rethink their philosophy of life, they react stubbornly and grimly - and in the end have to painfully realize that it is precisely the important things in life that money cannot buy.

Director Kay Dietrich captures the natural power of Tomi Ungerer's classic picture book, but also takes a socially critical look at what is happening: How do people treat each other? What goals do they pursue? Is everyone really happy with what they accumulate over the course of their lives? The bizarre characters of the three robbers and whirlwind Tiffany always provide an opportunity for joyful laughter!
