Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - in September this year the exceptional band around the striking singer Nick Cave is coming back to Berlin. They have their 18th record “Wild God” in their luggage, which will be released in August.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

“Wild God” is now the first album since “Ghosteen” from 2019, a double record in which Cave deals with the tragic accidental death of his son Arthur and integrates religious influences.

The journey of one of the world's most important bands began in 1984 with the debut album "From Her To Eternity", after Nick Cave had disbanded his previous post-punk band The Birthday Party two years earlier. Since the debut album, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have not only released record after record, but Cave has also emerged as one of the most important songwriters in rock music history.

To this day Nick Cave continues to influence artists of all genres worldwide as a musician, lyricist, poet, writer, actor and screenwriter.

The albums “The Boatman’s Call” (1997) and “Skeleton Tree” (2016) in particular are repeatedly viewed as outstanding works by the exceptional artist, in which dark, disturbing lyrics and a melancholic atmosphere dominate. With this basic recipe he has already helped create important soundtracks, such as for “Peaky Blinders” or for one of the most beautiful duets in music history in “Where The Wild Roses Grow”, together with pop queen Kylie Minogue.
