Sustainable alternatives are developed, which are then presented as part of a tournament. Fair Play!

⚽ 23 May to 31 July - Sport. Mass. Power. Football under National Socialism
What role did football play under National Socialism? The exhibition "Sport.Mass.Power.", which was developed by the Sportmuseum Berlin in collaboration with "what matters", addresses this question. On the one hand, the power structures are critically scrutinised, but on the other hand, the fates of people in football who suffered under the racist and anti-Semitic policies of the time are also presented. The exhibition can be seen during a visit to the Olympiapark, the former Reichssportfeld.

Where: Olympic Park, Friedrich-Friesen-Allee, Charlottenburg
⚽ 7 June to 14 July - Ballet of the masses
Christmas 1914: the spontaneous ceasefire five months after the outbreak of the First World War goes down in the history books as the "Christmas truce". The soldiers sing songs together in different languages, swap their weapons for balls and play football. The House of World Cultures is opening its doors to this peacemaking idea of football during the UEFA EURO 2024. Based on the composer Dimitri Shostakovich's quote "Football is a ballet of the masses", visitors are invited to experience football as a great, community-building movement. Readings, artworks, performances, discourses and films will provide food for thought on various topics such as football and geopolitics, football and sexuality or football and racism.
When: 7 June - 14 July
Where: House of World Cultures, John-Foster-Dulles-Allee 10, Tiergarten
