During the monthly, seasonal herb tours, alternative practitioner Silke Schoppe imparts an enjoyable mix of cultural-historical, culinary, botanical and naturopathic knowledge about wild herbs and medicinal plants that grow in the cemetery.


When feeling, rubbing, smelling, tasting and tasting many things that were previously unknown to most people as foods. The repertoire ranges from the very small, inconspicuous meadow herbs such as forget-me-nots and broadleaf plantains to the perennials and trees along the way such as goldenrod and barberry.
