A hungry mouse looks longingly through a long-distance oven pipe at a round cheese that is so close and yet so out of reach: it is hanging in a mousetrap! The ancestral pictures hanging on the trap frame are warning enough for the mouse not to carelessly give in to “her loved one”.

With persistence and cunning, she still manages to get “cheese essence” without the trap springing shut. “Cheese essence”…just the smell makes her weak in the knees. She's addicted. She wants more, more… a fondue!

Their greed makes them careless. Suddenly she is trapped. Your soul is already fluttering upwards. But the trap doesn't close. It has rusted. Now the beautiful life in the “Einfallenhaus” can begin! The “prosperity mouse” makes herself at home in her paradise: swing, TV, flowers, flag: everything is cheese! She has become fat and sluggish. Boredom creeps in. Your dreams taste dusty. Even the most intensive cleaning program cannot smother the anger that arises. Then she sees the golden moon in the sky: "Such cheese!!!"

What gold is to man, cheese is to mouse. Here the gold rush, there the cheese fever. Both lives are obstacle-filled races for gold, money or cheese. They often risk their lives in doing so. And if they manage to accumulate a lot of it, the main concern will be how to preserve, protect and increase what they have acquired - and at the same time be able to fulfill all their dreams and that's where the devil bites his tail. The mouse too!
