The word “Mishpoke” comes from Hebrew, where “Mishpacha” means “family”. This tour shows families the diverse aspects of this place: Jewish life in Berlin since 1866, the synagogue in the building today, religious traditions, customs and discussions.

And there are also interesting things for the little ones to discover: a Torah scroll, tzedakah boxes and mezuzot on the doorposts. Making learning easier for children is a tradition in Judaism.
