Pond is undoubtedly one of the most versatile, curious and accomplished bands of the psychedelic rock avant-garde. Originally intended as a kind of joke and the simulation of a pop group with a fictitious career from the first LoFi recordings in the bedroom to arrogant pop stars, the first record "Psychedelic Mango" was born out of a spontaneous idea. But then Jamie Terry joined in, and a whole collective of musicians influenced the sound spectrum in incredible ways.

The quasi-official debut album "Beard, Wives, Denim" was released in 2013, and since then Pond have been one of the mainstays of psychedelic rock. Their sound has continually evolved, moving between experimental passages, great funk, Britpop, glittering guitars and laid-back synthesizers.

The Australians have announced a year full of new music for 2024 and will finally be heard in Berlin again in October.
