Irish Day

Music from Ancient Ireland and Europe: Siobhán Armstrong is one of Europe's leading historical harpists, playing on copies of harps from the 15th to 18th centuries. She performs internationally with the most important early music ensembles and conductors and collaborates with Ireland's finest traditional musicians. She is founder and chair of the Historical Harp Society of Ireland.

Lunch concert festival in the house of the Embassy of Ireland, the headquarters of the Mendelssohn Bank from August 16th to August 20th.


Artistic direction: Judith Ingolfsson & Vladimir Stoupel. In its anniversary year, the festival is once again presenting compositions whose creation and historical performances are linked to the Musikwerkstatt Berlin: composers and musicians from all over the world who were inspired by this city. Cooperation event between the Mendelssohn Society and the Embassy of Ireland, supported by the law firm Ad Fontes and Guy Oppenheim.
