Crime comedy based on the novel by Karsten Dusse / stage adaptation by Bernd Schmidt with Dieter Hallervorden, Ines Nieri & Mario Ramos
In order to save his marriage to Katharina (Ines Nieri), defense lawyer Björn Diemel (Mario Ramos) has to get his work-life balance in order. His wife sends the smart lawyer, who has to look after the well-being of organized crime in everyday life, to a mindfulness coach (Dieter Hallervorden).

What Björn Diemel learns and successfully applies there not only changes his life, but also the hierarchy in the underworld milieu. Jan Böhmermann described Karsten Dusse’s novel as “tension, unsolicited advice and gallows humor”.
In the stage adaptation, three actors rotate in twenty-one roles and carefully try to follow the fast-paced story at a slower pace. The collision of crime comedy and self-help literature creates a humorous mixture of wellness vacation and murderous pleasure.
In the end, Björn Diemel proves to be a model student of his mindfulness coach - with fatal consequences, but for the benefit of his family. The crime comedy by Bernd Schmidt, who adapted Karsten Dusse's successful novel for the stage, is enjoying increasing popularity in the theater landscape.
Accordingly, the Schlosspark Theater is delighted to be able to present the much-acclaimed, darkly humorous murderous thriller to our audience for the first time in Berlin in 2024.
