In great detail, Hagen Rether links the current with the forgotten, the close with the distant, questions, disputes, doubts. He thoroughly shakes up the central tenets of Western “civilization” and exposes so-called constraints to laughter as collective fictions. With surprising comparisons, he seduces the audience to change their perspective - to take a different look at the world, into the future, into the mirror, and even face uncomfortable truths. And he calls on us to free ourselves from our often exploited fear and anger.

Rether's LOVE is tragic, funny, painful, contagious: The constantly mutating program with the same title always causes lasting dissatisfaction with simple explanations and encourages you to think and act for yourself.

For up to three and a half hours, the cabaret artist passionately pleads for education and compassion, against double standards and consumerism: change is possible - if you want it.
