The choice is yours. And all by himself: William Wahl now takes the stage alone. Finally! Well known from the a cappella formation basta, he pours out his comedic and melancholic, his cheerful and really sarcastic heart to us. Choice songs are piano cabaret without dust, favorite songs for life lovers, romance for realists.

With fine humor and musical pleasure, Wahl accompanies you through the big and small issues in life. Entertaining and light-hearted, but never lightweight, he tells of the planned daredevil vacation in Flagranti and of Tarzan's tragicomic end in the jungle camp.

In a captivating musical number, he sings about the fact that life is not a musical, relocates Joshua Kadison's tearjerker "Picture Postcards from L.A." to the Brandenburg province and, of course, sings about love - real and past.

His voice, whether sung or spoken, accompanies the contradictions of life with his fine humor and little asides, gives lightness even when everyone has to swallow, gives the biting tone when everything just goes a little too easily.

The fact that everything is done here with musical virtuosity and lyrical brilliance is, by the way, a matter of honor and almost secondary, at least for William. And in the end you don't want to let him leave the stage.
