Guided tour with historian Hans-Michael Schulze

The leading members of the GDR government such as Wilhelm Pieck, Walter Ulbricht and Otto Grotewohl lived in the immediate vicinity of Schönhausen Palace on the Mayakowskiring.

From 1949 to 1960, the oval street enclosed by a board fence, colloquially known as the "little town", was the exclusive residential area for top GDR politicians.

During the tour, Hans-Michael Schulze introduces the most important villas and their residents.
