Guido Cantz is one of the most hard-working and successful entertainers in Germany - for almost 30 years he has been delighting his audience on comedy stages, at carnival and with his numerous TV shows. Guido Cantz zaps his way amusingly and hilariously through 70 years of German television history - from the first test image to the last king of the jungle. On his journey through time you will meet TV icons with four legs (Lassie, Black Beauty, Joko and Klaas), with two legs (from Peter Frankenfeld to Florian Silbereisen) and even one without legs (pinball).
The blond comedian in the country sits down on the 70s couch in his pajamas, recalls the TV heroes of his childhood and explains what Pan Tau, Daktari and the enchanting Jeannie did to him. And he tells how his dad reacted when the picture fell out in the middle of the World Cup final in 1974.
Guido Cantz also knows why everyone knows "Tutti Frutti" to this day, even though nobody has seen it; he presents the most spectacular bets that were NOT featured in "Wetten dass ...?"; and he reveals his personal ideal cast for the next jungle camp - stop: the full program!
After more than 20 years in front of the camera, Guido Cantz can also claim: "I see something that you don't see" and gives his viewers a highly comical look behind the TV scenes. Because he knows that "Bambi" only gets fun when the cameras are long gone.
