Berlin Sports Museum

Please note: The Berlin Sports Museum in the Olympic Park is temporarily closed until 2024 for renovation work and preparation of future permanent and special exhibitions.

Germany's oldest sports museum is located at the home of sports, Berlin's Olympiapark. With over 100,000 items on display and an almost infinite selection of photographic material, the museum boasts the largest sports collection in Germany. Furthermore, archives of some 37,000 volumes of sports history literature from 1945/46 to 1989 in the East and the West can also be found in the library. The museum holds special exhibitions on various topics from German and Berlin-Brandenburg sports history and offers tours and visits to the depot in Olympiapark.
