Pepsi Boston Bar
Moonlit playground for Berlin's queer scene
Named after one of Berlin's great queer legends, the Pepsi Boston Bar in Berlin's largest queer club, SchwuZ, offers a creative playground for Berlin's queer artists, musicians, DJanes and DJs. From drag show extravaganzas, quizzes and karaoke nights to panel discussions, the programme covers the broad spectrum of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Right in the entrance area of the SchwuZ, the bar literally smiles at you. Theatrically framed by two neon red lips, the bar sets the standard for the decoration of the queer cultural meeting place, which doesn't mince its words and also sometimes sets a few tongue-in-cheek accents in a plush living room atmosphere.
A highlight is the portrait of Pepsi Boston above the stage, one of the many men in drag who have been shaping the scene around the SchwuZ since the late 70s and who are committed to more acceptance.
During the week, admission to all events in the Pepsi Boston Bar is free - on weekends until 10.30 pm.
