Weddingmarkt becomes Christmas market

A Christmas market atmosphere awaits you against the backdrop of the historic Schinkel Church (Alte Nazarethkirche). At around 100 stalls, mainly local designers and creatives  present what has been created in their workshops and studios over the year. You will find beautiful and handmade items, photographs, ceramics, illustrations, paintings, home accessories, furniture, jewellery, fashion, spirits, teas and much more.

A total of around 200 exhibitors will be taking part in the four Christmas markets. So there are beautiful, new things to discover on the first three Sundays of Advent. Many original Weddinger labels will be showing their wares. You're sure to find a unique Christmas gift here.

International Street Food & Bread on a Stick at the Campfire

The food on offer is as diverse as the district itself. In addition to classic Christmas specialities such as mulled wine, hot chestnuts and freshly baked waffles, you can look forward to international street food such as Swabian cheese spaetzle, Mexican tacos, African rice dishes, Polish bigos and Italian pasta.

The little guests can bake their own stick bread at the campfire. You can also look forward to a lovely programme with fairy tale lessons, music, choir singing and lots of surprises.

Our tips for your visit to the Weddingmarkt with Christmas Market

Wedding adjoins Berlin's Mitte district. Many Berlin artists live and work here. Just a ten-minute walk from Weddingmarkt mit Weihnachtsmarkt you will find the silent green cultural quarter. The listed former crematorium is now a quarter for creative people and start-ups. You can reach the Uferhallen in about 15 minutes. On the way there, you can stop by the live music bar KikiSol at Reinickendorfer Straße 96.
