Berlin Ostbahnhof

Conveniently located and well connected

Berlin Ostbahnhof is an important point of contact for travellers: Around 100,000 passengers and visitors use the station in Friedrichshain every day. Over 100 long-distance trains and over 200 local trains stop at Ostbahnhof every day.

With its glass façade and large skylight, the station is bright and friendly. It has excellent public transport connections with the S-Bahn lines S5, S7 and S75 as well as various bus routes. You can find up-to-date information on long-distance and local transport arrivals and departures at Ostbahnhof on the website of the Berlin Brandenburg Transport Association (vbb).

Visitors from the Berlin area can park their car in the multi-storey car park and take local transport from Ostbahnhof to the city centre. The station is also a great place to shop: around 50 shops on three levels provide travellers and shoppers with travel supplies, food and drink and much more.

Sights around Berlin Ostbahnhof

Within walking distance - and therefore very close to the station - is the Uber Arena event centre, which regularly hosts sporting events and concerts, as well as the famous East Side Gallery. Partygoers can head to the Postbahnhof or the legendary Berghain.
