For those of you who want to combine your visit to Berlin with a remote office, we have put together a list of 11 coworking spaces and laptop cafés. We made sure that you can rent a space by the hour or day and that you don't have to sign up for a membership. Of course, networking is still possible.
Tip 1: St. Oberholz - coworking space in Berlin with tradition
Founded in 2005, St. Oberholz is the oldest coworking space in Berlin. Here you can work on the lively Rosenthaler Platz in the middle of Berlin's hip start-up scene. Caffeine and healthy snacks provide energy. In addition to seats directly in the café, St. Oberholz on Rosenthaler Platz has work desks and conference rooms upstairs. Simply come by, and work while sipping your coffee.
Incidentally, the combination of good coffee and beautiful premises works so well that the St. Oberholz concept now exists at eight locations in Berlin and another one in Frankfurt/Oder. In addition to the traditional location at Rosi, you can also use two other locations around Torstrasse in Mitte: at Zehdenicker Str. 1 and at Torstrasse 49, directly at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. There you will be served high-speed WiFi and the in-house coffee from the Kreuzberg roastery Bonanza. All other locations are regular Coworking Office Spaces, where you can rent a space on a long-term basis. Next to full membership there are fixed desks, flex memberships (on a monthly basis) as well as event spaces and meetings rooms available.

Tip 3: Book a workspace at everyworks directly at the main station
Deutsche Bahn wants to make its contribution to New Work and sustainable mobility with its own coworking service everyworks and, of course, upgrade its own railway stations with flexible meeting rooms and workspaces. In Berlin, everyworks has premises directly at Berlin Central Station. You can book workspaces flexibly via the app. In addition to the modern and quiet coworking space, everyworks Berlin Hbf has meeting rooms for up to ten people and soundproof telephone boxes. You don't need to take out a membership. You only pay for what you use. Coffee, tea and water are included. If you want to rent for a longer period of time, turnkey offices, the so-called resident offices, are available on a monthly basis.

Tip 4: Mindspace on Münzstraße in Berlin's Mitte district
With its new location on Münzstraße in Berlin's Mitte district, Mindspace now offers you a seventh beautiful place to work temporarily in the capital. Housed in a historic building dating back to 1910, Mindspace offers stylishly furnished workspaces and communal areas. Private offices are designed for teams of two to 15 employees. Larger teams can rent space for up to 50 individual workstations - or reserve an entire floor for themselves. Some locations have roof terraces and other hip spaces. In Berlin, Mindspace has locations in Kreuzberg, Mitte and Charlottenburg.

In summer, the B-Part attracts visitors with an open beer garden. The café is open all year round for members, guests and walk-in customers. The modern wooden building is designed so that it can be dismantled at any time and reused elsewhere. And coworking memberships are of course also available, distributed by St. Oberholz, by the way.

Tip 8: Nice views at the CiSpace Coworking Café
CISpace is not only a coworking café but also an art gallery. You can also work with a view through the large panorama window. All spaces are equipped with electricity and fast internet. The concept of CISpace is to promote exchange among coworkers. To this end, networking evenings are organised from time to time. You can also rent the rooms for your event or presentation. You can book the coworking spaces for 3 euros per hour. A monthly membership costs 150 euros, including coffee and use of the printer.

Tip 9: The Visit - Berlin coffee roastery with coworking spaces
At The Visit, good coffee and coworking go hand in hand. You can find the branches of the Berlin coffee roastery all over Berlin. And all of them have a whole range of comfortable and well-equipped laptop spaces. You can rent them by the hour (2 euros), per day (15 euros), per week (60 euros) or for a whole month (120 euros). If you love the smell of freshly roasted coffee beans, you should definitely visit the Coffee Roastery on Adalbertstraße. Early risers can rent a room at The Visit Coffee & Eatery on Nürnbergerstraße from 7.30 am.

Tip 10: Unicorn Workspaces - Coworking plus Koffein
If you are planning a longer stay in Berlin, you can consider whether a monthly membership is worthwhile for you. There are a number of providers in Berlin, some of them with professional front desks that receive your mail and offer not only a workplace but also other rooms for meetings and various networking opportunities. Among the well-known ones are WeWork, Mindspace, rent24, Ahoy Berlin and the Unicorn. All of them have coworking spaces in several districts.
At Unicorn, you can rent a permanent workspace on a month to month basis. In addition to fast internet, office supplies, printers, IT service and round-the-clock access via app, a barista coffee flat rate is also included. Well worth it, if you need caffeine to work and compare that to the prices for good coffee elsewhere in Berlin. Unicorn has coworking spaces in Mitte, Kreuzberg, Neukölln, Charlottenburg, Wedding and Schöneberg.

Tip 11: Factory Berlin - networking with Berlin's start-up community
As a coworking space, The Factory Berlin is only open to members, who first have to apply for a place.
