The Buddy Bears Berlin have become an integral part of Berlin's cityscape. There are now around 500 bears that stand as a friendly, colorful symbol of tolerance in the streets (and as a landmark) of Berlin. They are unofficial ambassadors of Berlin.

Buddy Bear Berlin began in 2001 as a street art initiative in Berlin. Every single Buddy Bear is unique, a work of art with a wonderful story, designed by great artists*.

Many of the Buddy Bears are located in the heart of Berlin, but some can be found away from the classic tourist spots. So you get to know Berlin differently with the Buddy Bears. A real insider tip that promises beautiful photos and good humor. Just have a look at these Buddy Bears:
- The imposing "Buddy Bear Quadriga" in the Kranzler-Eck in the City West
- in the harbor of Kladow enjoy the view over the Havel together with the Buddy Bear
- Around the Gendarmenmarkt there are two famous chocolate houses, each with great Buddy Bears - a treat for all senses
- in front of the city hall Neukölln is Rixi, the friendship and peace bear
