Berlin Mitte isn’t just home to historic attractions – in its creative northern quarters, you’ll find ground-breaking contemporary art rubbing shoulders with Berlin’s imposing past. Check out the Hamburger Bahnhof, a gallery showcasing the latest modern works in a magnificent former freight railway station just under fifteen minutes’ walk from the hotel. You’ll also find a vibrant artists’ community in the area around Auguststraße and Linienstraße, about ten minutes from the hotel. Many makers, shakers and risk-takers have made their homes on the small side streets here, where you’ll find plenty of charming little galleries and cafés to explore.
